Everest base camp trekking is without doubt one of the most renowned travel destinaton in the world. Indeed Mount Everest Base Camp (5380m) has been popular trekkingt since the trail first successful expeditions of Mount Everest Summit (8848 meter) on May 29th, 1953 by Sir Edmund Hilary and Tenzing Norgey Sherpa. The Everest base camp trekking reveals some of the most breathtaking scenery of the Himalayan region. On the next day of your arrival in Kathmandu airport, you will fly to Lukla. The half an hour spectacular adventures mountain flight to Lukla, from where your Everest base camp trekking begins. On the first of trekking the foot trail follows Dudh Kosi River. Then following day it crosses forests of rhododendron and magnolia, villages and monasteries. On the second day you reach at Namche Bazaar, a bustling bazaar, that’s a junction for trekkers. The Namche bazaar is the spectacular place to rest and shopping the village has two museums, several internet cafes, pizza houses, three cafes (locally known as bakeries).
From Namche Bazaar, you trek along a high traversing path and reach at Tyangboche, an old Buddhist monastery located on a ridge top. Then following days you will be at Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorakhashep. Form Gorak Shep you will visit the Everest Base Camp and ascend to the black rocks called Kala Patthar (5555m). After visiting the major target place Mount Everest base camp at the foot of the Khumbu ice fall then you will trek back to the Lukla airport following the same previous route with spending few days overnight at different places. The views are much better after the summer monsoons have cleared the atmosphere.

Everest Base Camp Trekking Itinerary

Day 01 (13 Sep 2014): Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m): Upon your arrival at Kathmandu in International airport after complete your luggage and we will be then transfer to Hotel and visit to Alliance Adventure office and briefing the Trekking - Overnight at Hotel with BB.

Day 02 (14 Sep 2014): Kathmandu to Lukla (2850m) Trek to Phakding (2610m) 3 hours: Your early flight to Lukla today will take approximately 30 minutes from here you will trek to Phakding, you will catch a glimpse of some great mountains such as Nupla (5885m) above Kongde Ridge, Kusum Kang (6367m appears on the right a little later. All along you will be following the northern (left) bank of the Dudh Kosi River. It is important to take these first few days slowly to enable your body to acclimatize and to enjoy the passing scenery and culture. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 03 (15 Sep 2014): Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5 to 6 hours: Today begins on level ground, relative to the environment in which you are! You will cross the river on a high suspension bridge and begin to climb up to Monjo (2835m) and on to the gateway to the Sagamartha National Park Entrance in place to protect and preserve this beautiful environment. There is a good rest stop on the way up where you will see people gathered, admiring the first real chance to see Everest in the distance. On the way up today you will be rewarded with views of Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache Peak than we reach at Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 04 (16 Sep 2014): Rest day in Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day: This is first scheduled 'acclimatization' day for this trek. Health experts always recommend us to stay active and moving during the rest day too instead of being idle. We either spend the day taking a day's hike to Thame or visiting Khunde or carry out relaxed exploration of Namche Bazaar itself. If we trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help us to properly acclimatize. Our guides will take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region. Namche Bazzar is the main centre of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday.

Day 05 (17 Sep 2014): Trek from Namche Bazaar to Deboche (3820m) 5 to 6 hours: Today's journey starts with excellent views of Ama Dablam and Everest amongst others along the way though. From Sanasa trail descends to Phunki Thanga from where you have a 2 hour climb to Tengboche Monastery is one of the biggest Monasteries in Solu Khumbu region. You will come to a stone gate which marks the entrance to Tengboche, the religious center of the Khumbu region and descend through rhododendron forests to pastures below and Deboche. Day 06 (18 Sep 2014): Trek from Deboche to Pheriche (4240m) 4 to 5 hours: After breakfast pleasant walk under the with great views of Ama Dablam and Kantaga (6779m), your route is lined by Pengboche the highest year round settlement in the valley and oldest Gomba in Khumbu. Overnight at Lodge ? B.L.D

Day 07 (19 Sep 2014): Rest day and Acclimatization in Pheriche: Today you have rest of day and free of time in Mountain and enjoy the outstanding mountain views, particularly the north face of Ama Dablam and Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. There are several walk options enabling your body to acclimatization. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 08 (20 Sep 2014): Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4910m) 5 to 6 hours: Today mostly all the way to Lobuche much be climb up that's why you have keep slow walk with keep long breathing. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 09 (21 Sep 2014): Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5140m) 3 to 4 hours and Gorakshep to Everest Base Camp (5364m) 2 hours: You will ascend gently to begin with today through lovely pasture lands; you will then follow the rocky moraine path with views of the Khumbu Glacier. Gorakshep is on a flat field below Kala Pattar (5545m) and Pumori (7145m), it is the original Everest Base Camp. A good spot for lunch after 2/3 hours walk, following lunch you can continue up to the present Base Camp. overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 10 (22 Sep 2014): Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Pattar (5545m) 2 to 3 hours and to Pheriche (4243m) 5 / 6 hours: Early morning wake-up and your last chanlleing point top of Kala Pattar is quite spectacular view of West face of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and more. Returning to Periche, the windy town, there is a Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post should anybody need assistance staffed by International volunteer doctors? Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 11 (23 Sep 2014): Trek from Periche to Namche Bazaar (3444m) 5 to 6 hours: After breakfast you have to walk down all the way to Tengboche via same way by Pangboche. Tengboche Monastery is famosh Monastery in Khumbu region as well as biggest Monastery and keep continues to the Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 12 (24 Sep 2014): Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m) 6 to 7 hours: Today is your last day steep in Khumbu region as longer walk days and if would like to join last minutes with your Guide and Potters and ceremony farewell dinner with them. Overnight at Lodge - B.L.D

Day 13 (25 Sep 2014): Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu (30 to 35 minutes) and farewell Dinner: You have wake-up early in the morning and take breakfast than check in the Lukla airport and flight to Kathmandu than Alliance Adventure come to pick-up in the Domestic airport and transfer the Hotel then you will be free and take a rest with enjoy the Hot shower. After in this pleasant Adventure activates we will offer you Nepali typical culture dinner and Alliance Adventure hand over your Trekking Permit, TIMS Card and Certificate for the Nepal Adventure memory of your life.

Day 14 (26 Sep 2014) Departure to International Airport: Today is last minute shopping in Nepal for souvenirs for your family, friends relative and check out from the hotel then we will transfer to the International Airport for your departure flight onwards destination for the own country.
